nala

It is with enormous sadness that we must announce Nala's removal from our breeding program. She began to abort her second litter but her cervix would not open and she then got pymetra. She was spayed to save her life and my vet said she was within 24 hours of death. Luckily she survived and has now gone to live with a lovely family in a really beautiful place. We miss her terribly and she is a real loss to the breeding program. But most imporantly I am just happy she survived as she is such a friendly cat.

Nala's show wins pretty much speak for her. The only thing they do not do is show what a lovely personality she has. Nala starts purring the minute she sees you and she just wants to spend every minute with people.

Nala had only one litter which was to Ngala and it was the very best litter we had had as of that date, which is saying a lot as we have been having very good litters.

Updated news - Sadly Nala has been stolen from her new home. If anyone has bought a cat they think might be her please notify me. I do not want to take her from you as I am sure you would not know she was stolen. I just desperately need to know she is Ok and loved.

ngala

What can I say about Ngala, or better still how can I limit my ravings about him? Ngala is everything I wanted in a Bengal and have been trying to get ever since I first learnt about the breed.

Ngala's great, great grandfather is Calcatta's Custom Made (acknowledged as the world's best Bengal) and his most recent relatives are from Gogees, who is considered by many to be one of the best Bengal breeders.

Ngala has a wild head and beautiful large round eyes.  From the front Ngala looks a lot like an Ocelot. He has full white whisker pads and a beautiful, glittered coat with stunning large, two toned, ring rosettes set on a light golden background. He has amazing clarity and contrast in his coat.

I knew all this before I got him and yet unbelievably there were two surprises when he arrived. Ngala has the silkiest feeling pelt I have ever felt on a Bengal. It was not until the next day when I discovered the second surprise. Ngala has a whitened stomach. What a bonus. All I want to do is just sit with, pet and look at this wonderful cat. When I leave the house I can't wait to get back to him. And on top of all of that, he has the sweetest temperament. He is going to add so much to my breeding program.

Ngala has won best in show in nearly every ring he has entered. He is simply stunning.

There are not words to thank Helena and Renata enough for allowing Ngala to come to us. Though all the emails, phone calls and a wonderful visit we have become good friends and I greatly value their friendship.

kunda

We are delighted to have "Kunde" (the valiant one hasarrived) as our first stud. He comes from Gail at Gaylee Bengals in the UK and we are very appreciative of her for allowing him to join our family. She had many people telling her they were gob smacked  she was not keeping him. He is a large, clear coated and glittered cat with a wonderful temperament.

Kunde has recently had his TV depute. He was asked onto the show "Downsize Your Pet" as an award winning cat who could walk on a harness.  Both he and my daughter, who presented him, did a great job.

I will be taking Kunde out of the breeding program as soon as Ngala proves himself as a breeding cat. During the first year Kunde lived inside with us, my daughter and I became very bonded to Kunde and him to us. We were very sad to have to move Kunda out into the cattery but his spraying meant he just couldn't stay inside.

We plan to neuter Kunde and then use him as a Outreach Therapy pet, to visit people in hospitals and rest homes and children with special needs as he has such a wonderful personality. We look forward to him coming back inside to live the rest of his life as a beloved family member.

Kunde's lines will live on in the kittens he has produced and any females we keep for breeding that were sired by him. Once again  thank you to Gail at Gaylee Bengals for letting us have this amazing cat.

madju

Madju is an import from the UK. I saw pictures on the Bramblewood website of her father Jumanji Shere Khan before he was even out of quarantine and knew I wanted one of his offspring.  I waited over two years to get what I wanted and Madju is the result.

Her picture does not do her justice as Madju has lovely dark donut rosettes, a really soft glittered coat, good conformation and nice whisker pads.

Madju has a very friendly temperament and is producing absolutely beautiful kittens with dark, donut rosettes.

I thank Peter and Christine for allowing Madju to join out family.

Unfortunantly Madju got pymetra and has had to be taken out of the breeding program and re-homed. Fortunantly she has gone to a really nice home where she is dearly loved.
